Well, among the Brickyarders who ran it, two walked away with plaques. Mike placed 3rd (briefly as a female but that was fixed and they gave him the right one) and Tracy 2nd. Tracy cleared 2 hours by about 19 seconds. Jason was close, finishing soon after. Mike writes

"Won 3rd place in my age group at the Roxbury Half Marathon. It was my 35th half marathon and 1,369th consecutive day of running. Good weather and good friends."

Linda and I showed up to cheer on our friends.

Vanessa was just a tad ahead of Tracy (I think) and "medaled."

Hartford Marathon

Mike, Tray, Lani and Lea ran the full this morning. Jason cheered them on. Mike cut 6 minutes off his last year time. Tray ran 4:18, Mike 4:49. Lea took 4:11. Lani took 5:12.

Tray's considering running the Roxbury 1/2 and then a week later seeing how far she can run in 400 minutes at LoPresti's Fall Fling.

2:59:31 in the 30K this morning.

She writes: "Was thinking about the time you and I ran it in 2:37 or something close to that."

Got me to thinking ... what year was that and what exactly was the time ... ?

Athlinks comes up with ... for me.

(BTW that 2:32:22 was the year I "cheated." (Actually, I blew an important turn early on and tried to make up for it by running an out and back after I "finished" but I am sure I still didn't run the full 18K.) I think the year she's referring to must've been 2012. Those were the days.)
