Brent and I ran the Branford 5 Miler at 10:15 AM this morning. I placed 2/16 in the 70-74 division w/ a pace of about 7:34. John Courtmanche crossed about 30 seconds in front of me. I never saw him during the race (but I knew he was running so I was definitely looking for him).
The photo was taken by my friend Andie Williamson who ran a 41 minute race to place 4th in her division.
Brent's pace was 8:40.We were both happy with our times.
Lea got a PR in a 5K this weekend!! She writes, on fb,
"Fastest 5k ever! 23:53, 7:42 min. miles. Good
enough for 1st in my age group. Couldn't beat the 2 teenagers to place
overall. Ran the course 2 more times after this to make it 10 for the
day.
