Mixed Doubles 10k Relay and Hogsback

Lee and his partner Karen Febbraio ran Amby Burfoot's 10k Relay in Groton at 4 PM today. John Febbraio and Linda Bradley took pictures. Lee and Karen were in the "130-139" AG and placed 1st.

Snerro timed the Relay. This is just the Open Division results. There was also a Mother / Son, Father / Daughter and Sister / Brother Division. 87 teams ran (174 people).

Mike and Lea and Sri ran Hogsback. Lea broke 2, a PR! Mike ran 2:10. Sri placed in his AG. Mike provided these pix.

Fall Distance Festival 10, 20, 30k

Tray, Adam, Mike, Joe and Lee ran the Fall Distance races this morning in Stratford. Lee blew a turn on loop 2 so added about 28 minutes at the end to make up for it. Tray did 20k. Adam bettered his last year time by about 26 minutes I think and his confidence to go under 4 at the Hartford full is stronger now. This picture was take by a runner w/ Mike's phone.

Sam Elpern Memorial Half Marathon (Norwalk Half), the last race in the Lightfoot Running series

Lea, Mike and Lee ran the Norwalk Half at 8 AM this morning. Weather was coldish (yay!) and 249 ran it!

Lea added 3 miles at the end and did a 2:10. Mike bettered his New Haven 20k big time (a shorter race) and did a 2:03. Lee did 1:50.

Tray tackled Traprock with Wanda, Michelle Bosco and Michael Lo Presti.

Barbara Kream completed the 20k wearing Dave's bib #52. Linda and Lee are real sorry they were not there to greet her at the finish line. Well done Barbara!!!

Rose placed 3rd in her division in the 5k.10:18 pace. Impressive.

Lee placed first but the guy he usually chases was obviously off today and was something like 15 minutes back. Not sure what happened. Lee and Andy Zyrek and Neil Mandel were side by side in the last mile or so. They got him in the end.
