Good luck to everybody!
May Sri and Mike do well at their half in New Bedford on Sunday, Tray, Brent and yours truly do well in Holyoke tomorrow and all other Brickyarders do well at whatever they've got going this weekend.

Holy Moly!
Brent described the course in words. Here's the elevation map. Tray, Brent, Lee, I think Mike are doing the Holyoke 10K at 1 PM this Saturday. This is the 38th annual and it's huge. Game?

Call to Burlington!
At 4:15 PM today Mike Taricani reports ...
Roads are good. A few areas will have large piles on the sides of the street but traffic will be light. We'll do the 9 mile loop twice. The map on the blog is 7 miles but I'm adding a street to make it 9 miles. Let's start at 7 AM sharp. My address is 81 Stagecoach Road on the south side of Burlington. Just 3 miles from Rt 6 if anyone knows the area. Park in the circle.
From his log post a few days back ...
Saturday 18 mile run---I have a 9 mile loop planned that we can do twice. It has one major hill between mile 4-5. Easy country roads and somewhat scenic. It will be an extended version of this route below. Check the Garmin link:

Where in the world is in design mode
As the subject says, Where in the world is in design mode. Encouraged by Stratton, Vroeginday, Bradley and countless others, a possibly hilly, circuitous pre-ultra training run is being cooked up and, weather willing, will be executed Saturday morning starting at the prime hour 7 AM. Mr Mike has been promising / hinting / threatening / etcetering such an adventure for months and it appears it *will* take place. So ... look for a roughly (and we mean *roughly* as in not easy) 18 mile romp thru the hills of Burlington, CT coming soon to this blog and this awesome group of runners / friends Thursday / Friday evening.

Re: [Brickyarders] Call to Brickyard!
I will be at Simsbury/Iron Horse tomorrow. I will get there early for a few extra miles then at 7:00am start another 10+ depending on my departure around 9:30. I can't wait to be part of this run/walk/tip-toe/stumblel/limp/hop on 1 foot routine Tracy has planned.

Well ... lets's see. Looks like Simsbury's a go for tomorrow @ 7 AM. (That of course would be Iron Horse 1/2 area). 've heard everything from 10 to 23 (and you know who's 23). Tray's been promoting a run / walk pre-ultra workout for all of us who're (now there's an unfortunate contraction ...) doing one. Lea's list of grant writing, x-fitting, state hopping etc etc will keep her away for I've-lost-count weeks. Barbara has not "reported in" on Brickyard (im)passability but we look forward to seeing her and Dave for a loop tomorrow if they can make it. Mr. Brent's talking taking yoga classes with Linda and my friend Virginia but we are sure he won't miss us in Simsbury ... downward dog is good ... upward jog is gooder. Anybody else who can make it ... see you there!
