Our camera chip filled up so we got very few pix. Linda helped at the finish line, took the few pix we got, drove us to and from the race. Rose took a few pix at the pub so stay tuned. Tracy ran
105 Tracy Vroeginday 39 F Plantsville CT HTC 1:31:36 9:10
I ran
66 Lee Bradley 69 M Newington CT 1:21:29 8:09
Rose's pace was 10:44. Brent had a rough one but finished.
If you click the picture and look real hard, Tray, Brent, Rick Konon and Rose are visible. Will Graustein took finish line pix and mid course pix so, again, stay tuned. Marc Robaczynski placed 3rd w/ a 5:36 pace so I guess you now know what a competitive field there was.
Here's what my Garmin said.
This course is very hilly, both up and down. The hill at mile 7/8 is very tough. But for every up there is a down. I love this course. It was great to run a lot of it with Catherine Lyons and Emmy Stocker and Tim Hawley. Peter Hawley placed 2nd in my division. I placed 3rd. The guy that beat us ran a 7:06 pace. I can't WAIT till April 21st, 2012. I turn 70. 8 days later, Jack Bristol Lake Waramaug Ultras!

Great job everyone. Tough competition out there. Lee....you came through on that 8 min pace claim. Impressive!
ReplyDeleteWell ... not quite, but thanks. Will Graustein published a few pix. Nobody important, like Tray, Peter, Tim, Brent, Cheryl, Kathy, Cynthia, Catherine, Emmy, Rose, Rick, Jo but he did catch
