The weekend

Mike is running Iron Horse 1/2 on Sunday. Adam is volunteering at Iron Horse. Brent and Lee are running Brickyard at 7 AM on Saturday. Not too long. Like only 7 or so. Original parking lot. Have a great weekend everybody!

This weekend

Brent and I are racing tomorrow at 9 AM in Old Saybrook. The Delaney Dash is an out and back, 4 miler. Very competitive.

There is a new 5K race on June 15 at University of Hartford to support My Sisters Place. (my sister-in-law is involved with this charity asked me to do what I could to let other runners know about it).

Veteran to just above toddler, here are three images that should keep you inspired pretty much forever.

Newington Library and 100+ miles

Tray ran 123 miles on Friday/Saturday. I am sure we will learn more details soon.

Brent, Rose and Lee ran the Newington Library 5K Challenge this morning.

Rose placed with a time of 31 and change. Brent ran about an 8:20 pace. Chipping away. Lee placed first with a time of 23 and change. Here's his watch record.

Mike ran the Spring Into Spring 5K today. He writes ...

Debticonn winners at Spring Into Spring 5K. Lesley Fearnly and I placed 1st in our age groups. Wayne Hapgood came in 2nd in his group. I'm holding Sergio de Sousa's metal because he left to run another race in Branford.

Adam ran his first trail race at Soapstone Mountain.

Kevin placed 3rd this morning in the 8 miler in Vernon. Tracy is still going strong in the 48 hour in NJ. Adam is knockin' 'em down, 1 at a time. Brent and Lee and Kevin'll hit Newington tomorrow morning. Mike will double.

Kinda lost track. Brent and Lee are running the Race in the Park 5K in New Britain at 8 AM tomorrow morning. Mike can run Brickyard but must be early (grandson duty). Not sure what anybody else is up to. Have a great weekend all!

Adam ran the 5K, Lani and Lee the 10K. Adam came real close to breaking 22. Lani ran 52:14. Lee ran 55:40.
