Re: [Brickyarders] New Start Time

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Great pics from the Southington run.
This coming Sat I will not be able to run at Brickyard. I have a wedding in Newport that afternoon which means I have to get my run in earlier in the am.  Unfortunately that means that I will not see you all until the big day!  :(   will you be meeting in a certain area before the race?
Mari

This coming Saturday we will be meeting at 8 AM.

I've updated the Brickyarders' Best link to reflect the fact that Mari and Beth have run Hogsback and Brent, Tray and Lee have have run the 5 Mile in Southington. This link is very incomplete so if you have any additions, corrections etc. let us know.

Ben shows Lee and his Mom how it's done!

Took me almost the entire two loops to catch up to Andrew!

Tray PRs in the 5 Mile

Lee had Brent in sight for 3 of the 5 miles

Brent in the lead!

Rose places 1st the 5K

Apple Harvest Race 2011

Well, looks like I have to eat a big ole piece of humble pie! Not only did Brent and Lee slaughter me in time for today's 5 mile race, they ran an obscene amount of mileage this past week. Oh well, what can I say. I did beat my best race time on this course by 46 seconds. My sub-40 will have to wait until next year.

I'll let Lee post the pics and details for him, Rose, and Brent. Congrats to all the age-place winners - that would be everyone except me! :(

I had a great time - thanks guys for coming out to the race. Thanks Lee for running with the boys.

Tray and Barry's Party!

Tray and Barry and Sophie and Mo and Zoe and Andrew and Benjamin really know how to host a party! Thanks so much!

Linda, Lee, Mary, Brent, Dave, Barbara, Lea and Rose had a great time!

See you tomorrow. Brent's already making excuses about how our semi-long run this morning will add about 15 seconds per mile to our expected paces. The Guinness, cheesecake, shrimp, beef, kale, chips, salads, brownies, wine, dip and rice have got to be worth at least another 15 seconds. I've recently mentioned that one of my best races was run the day after I ate a lot of pizza and drank a lot of beer. I'm thinking 7:29.

"It doesn't get any better than this!"
