Rose ran the 5k in 37 and change. Her cousin Mary ran with her. Ran into Rose's friend Libera's daughter Christina. Christina's son Michael ran the 5k.
Lee was spirited on by Ben Mattheis thruout the race, especially at the very end. He placed 1st with a 40:58.
Oh, almost forgot. It rained BIG TIME when the race was over. The good news, Linda purchased 3 dozen apple fritters, 3 of which never made it back to Newington. Delivery of one of the dozen, along w/ flowers is scheduled for about 2 PM at UConn hospital where Nhung Blaschke and 2 day old Misha Marie eagerly await them.

Here's what yours truly did last year. Pretty much precisely Tray did this year time. So I was three minutes slower this year, she was 3 1/2 minutes faster.
