Re: [Brickyarders] Call to Brickyard!!

We haven't forgotten about you, Lee.  Good luck at the doctor's!

For tomorrow, I am starting at 7:30 to get in a couple of miles before Brent and the rest of the gang get there at 8.  My problem with starting later is that the mileage I/we have to do is going to take 3+ hours on many weekends and Barry is taking karate lessons so I want him to be able to do that.  However, if everyone else wants to start at 8:30, I can always get in a few miles before the "official" start.  I would say leave it at 8 for tomorrow though, to avoid confusion.

Mid-40's?  What a treat!

Lea's talking about doing 10. Tray's got 20 in mind. Lee (remember Lee?) will be seeing his doctor today and is pretty confident he'll get the go ahead to run. So I'm thinking 10 for me. Rose thinks we should make the official start time 8:30 AM as the winter is upon us (although the amount of snow is ... well ... non-existent). Rose'll be there and would like to do 10. So ... how cool is this? Lani? Mary? Brent (I expect he'll be there). And, give it another week and ... Mike T. too?

The Meriden Tradition Run is the next day. I floated a rumor I'd do it but a good friend of mine ... well ... not this year. Lea'll be there. Something about drinking wine after came up.

  2. I'll be walking w/ Linda tomorrow morning, at Brickyard. My doctor says I look great but should finish my 10-day antibiotics regimen.

I think it's great Barry's taking karate lessons!

  3. It was great to see everybody today! Linda & I did a 4 mile walk. Rose (Ms Predicatable) showed up about 45 minutes earlier than she said she would and knocked out about 12 (some 2 miles more than she said she would). Tray gave Mr. Brent a hard time about doing "only 18" and Professor Crown completed 10. I learned that the Tradition Run is actually a 10K for the hardcore who not only run up the hill but don't take the van down. Tray and Lea will do it tomorrow. Brent's racing in Meriden. See you all next week. Watch out cuz I'll be so rested I'll be hard to keep up with.
