Red Dress (or Pink Shirt) 5K

Lani and Mary ran Red Dress 5K this AM! Go Lani! Go Mary!

Blogger was uncooperative when Lani tried to post the above picture so she sent it to me by regular email and asked me to put it up.

We hope and trust you both had a good time!

You read right. Number 1 out of 145 and 18th out of 943.

    Wow!

Kudos to Ms Almy. Close to 1/2 the runners in her division were behind her when she crossed. Well done Mary!

  2. Thanks for the comments Lee. It was HHH in the Nutmeg State today. Mary and I nearly melted into the pavement and left soon after the race ended. I've been out biking all day, don't think either of us were aware of our successes--but in the end it was great just to be out there, enjoying life and participating. Great job on your runs at the Brickyard, as always y'all ROCK! Mary and I are trying to plan our schedules and may make an appearance @BY next week for a short & slow run. Happy running, Lani

  3. Lani - maybe you should call Beth and see if they've got some hardware for you.

  5. Peter Hawley emailed me today, he was kind enough to pick up my award. So I'll let everyone know what the mystery prize is when I pick it up... Maybe it's a Red Dress!

  6. Got your award and, no, it's not a Red Dress. It does however have some red in it. I'll have it w/ me on Saturday at Brickyard for you if you make it. Peter gave it to me last night at the HTC meeting.
