Scottish Rite Freemasons 5K detail
I know, it's two weeks away. But Rose and I have discovered we've been running the Scottish Rite Freemasons 5K without including the very short cul-de-sac at Trout Brook Circle. So ... just to be clear about what you shouldn't blow past (now I'm wondering if they'll station somebody there to guide you) here's the official course map and my Garmin data from yesterday when I ran it.

I wrote the race director about this. He obviously knows what he is doing.

Great to hear from you. Actually, in 2009, our first year we did not have that little loop. Instead, at the start of the race we ran around the grassy island at the Scottish Rite parking lot then on to Deming. In 2010, we eliminated the loop in the parking lot, started on Deming in front of the driveway and made up the distance at Trout Brook Circle loop. We did make the announcement in the beginning (and will do it again this year) and will have someone there again to direct them into the loop. We also had a couple of signs prior to inform the runners of an upcoming loop.
